My Best Memory
It was an odd day of January. My mom woke me up very early. I ate breakfast and grabbed my backpack and my lunch box. I got in the car and started a long way there, we got there. I got out of the car very exited and my mom took my hand. We reached a big green door, you could see a play ground and inside the colorful rooms, a lot of games and kids. My mom gave me a kleenex box, I didn’t know why, in fact, I had never had one of my own before. She gave me a kiss and let go my hand. Suddenly, I was inside a room full of kids, they were wierd and didn’t want it to talk, I tried my best though. A big woman came in said her name, Paty. She presented herself as the teacher. I started to feel out of place and began to notice more the things going around me. All the kids were crying desperately. I remembered my mom had given me a new box of kleenex, at that moment I knew why. She knew all of the kids in the room were crying. I went across the room and with a timid smile on my face, gave each kid a kleenex. Some stopped crying as the minutes passed, others cried the whole day. The day was long and I was tired, some kids didn’t even wanted to play, still I liked it. My first day of school.
